Four Against Five or The Slime Pits of Siddim

The King of Sodom, the King of Gomorrah, the King of Admah, the King of Zeboiim, and the King of Bela were at war with the King of Shinar, the King of Ellasar, the King of Elam (Chedorlaomer), and Tidal King of nations. In the vale of Siddim the Kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled and fell into slime pits. (see Genesis 14:1-11).

It appears that the King of Sodom managed to survive and get out of the slime-pit since we see him later in the chapter (Genesis 14:17).
